prefused

Last week I broke my "no staying out late on school nights" rule and went to see Prefuse 73 at the Drunken Unicorn. The venue is part of the MJQ concourse located on Ponce de Leon. Prefuse 73, an artist on Warp Records, is one of Scott Heren's many aliases. He has also put out work under projects such as Delarosa & Asora and Savath+Savalas. The sound is glitchy, clickity, hip hop defiled and digified. I was surprised to see that it was a live set, complete with drummer and bassist. Heren's brought it with unique sound and turntablism.
